For me it works well as a quick overview, however the blue blob sliders seem inoperative, maybe because my server is running 1.30.4?
The 24hr review just sits there "arranging images" for several minutes then says API update needed, so I don't try to use it any more.

Re: Use RPi with Motion as video source
Make sure that in ZM both max fps settings are left blank and try 640x480 as aspect ratio, otherwise what you have looks OK. In MotionEyeOS web interface under General settings there is an Advanced settings switch. (top option) With that ON proceed down to the Expert settings group and switch on ...

Re: Use RPi with Motion as video source
I have several RPi 1s running motion-pi (now motion-eyeOS - the name changed.) without problems. All use the pi-camera boards and are mixed wired and wireless streaming to zoneminder. They are built into dummy camera cases and have been running for months now. What is the exact problem that you hit ...

Re: Mageia 2 released with ZoneMinder
If I understand correctly, this version does not depend on shared memory settings as it is built with mmap enabled. Is it OK when viewed on the local machine? If so, what do you see in /var/log/httpd/error_log ? You can use: tailf /var/log/httpd/error_log to monitor apache error messages in real ...

Re: Mageia 2 released with ZoneMinder
This is a great build. Problem is There is no access from outside the box. I'm fairly noob at linux, but not scared. Cams look great. Just need access from outside. Thanks for the work!! :D Mageia has a firewall enabled by default. Go to "MCC-> Security->Set up your Personal Firewall" and check the ...

Re: Mageia 2 released with ZoneMinder
Anyone having the same problem with the disk space filling up really quickly using this distro? Zoneminder show that I'm 50% full in just a few days when I have only one camera recording and I have a 1 TB drive that I just put this disto on. Very strange. Any helpful suggestions would be ...

Re: Mageia 2 released with ZoneMinder
Hi - Thanks for your comments. Sorry it's been a while - for some reason I don't seem to be getting topic reply notifications from this forum. I did not choose the default repository (mirror) when installing. The one I did use didn't have ZM so I changed several times until I found one that did Not ...

any pointer to recompiling with ffmpeg for eyezm ( have done this manually for my previous debian zone minder boxes) There are two versions of Zoneminder in the repositories - the one you are looking for is in the "Tainted" repository. I am not a pearl programmer but this looks like a typo and breaks the updater - this patch fixes it. It the same in 1.24.4.and 1.25.0 OK I give up - I add the patch as an attachment and it does not show anywhere in the post so here it is instead. --- scripts/zmupdate.pl.in_orig 2011-08-26 08:51:37 ...
