I have sorted the zm update. The mysql tables had not been updated as were missing some new columns..
I did not know restarting it would update them so I just grabbed the .sql update file from the source files.

All works now

Our 3 workstations have 1000mb network cards along with both zm servers.

After my problems I have installed firefox explorer on my pc to try instead of ie6 and I have had no problems so far.

Next week Im going to backup the mysql db and events folder (over 600gb) and then do a total format-reload using the RieserFS partition and restore the data.

The filesystem is ext3 and using lvm to span the / partition over
3 drives (128gb 400gb 400gb)

Is it possible to change it to Reiserfs without a total reinstall ?.

I only want around 1 month of stuff but some cameras hit the 32,000 events limit of the file system after around 2.5 weeks.
