Thanks for the link. I will have to give it a try.

I wondering if anyone has had any luck getting the alarm/event sounds to work? I put a wav file in usr/share/zoneminder/sounds and enabled the function on the options screen but no sound. (mute is off and volume is up)

any ideas???
