Hi,, I have Zoneminder v1.25.0,,and have used it for quite some time....I have 3 cameras that run off separate Bluecherry cards.... I use one camera to capture 3 hour blocks of video daily around the clock....Zoneminder wants to start at 12am with the 3 hour blocks,,and this makes it catch the 3pm ...

All the looking around and i somehow missed that....I will try this....Thanks....

Is it possible to force my second monitor to save the recorded video from it as one large file(it is always on record)....My first monitor and second monitor now saves as 10 minute segments in separate folders....I am aware that i can choose to use a deep filesystem hierarchy across the board for ...

I am able to use phpmyadmin temporarily to log in and truncate the particular table daily....This fixes my issue temporarily until i figure out how to write and execute in cron....Thanks again....

Hello. I am running Zoneminder 1.25.0.... Can any one tell me simply how to reset the image folder numbers back to the beginning every day after i delete the folders?? To be more clear,,,, I check and delete my Zoneminder image folders daily.... Every day the folder numbers continue to get bigger ...

I have had no luck in searching for this topic....How can i have zoneminder save recorded video as 1 large file instead of 10 minute blocks??....Thanks if anyone can help....

I have had great success capturing Meteors with Zoneminder.,,after a lot of experimentation....I have been able to filter out the Moon,,planes,,etc,,and only catch Meteors,,lightning,,and a few odd events like my neighbor blowing up his burn barrel while trying to light his trash....Here are the ...

I have been having better control with the settings that knnniggett posted for me to try....Those settings are letting me pick up plane lights at night,,and i have captured 3 Meteors over the last 2 nights....This i was not able to do as well previously....I will post links to the Meteors i captured ...

Thanks for the info....I am trying these settings tonight....I will let you know how this works....The settings i were using up until now,,seemed to pick up most light changes that were occurring across a wider area....(too wide of an area for me)Maybe these settings will fare better....Thanks....

My frame rate is running at 30 fps....This is what my card will handle....I did not really set it at 30,,,,but it is running there....I can pick up larger light events at night,,,,but it struggles to pick up events as small as like 12 pixels....I would like for it to pick up small light events...

I wonder if i should be setting the (Min/Max Pixel Threshold (0-255))the same as the alarmed pixels....And does the amount of alarmed pixels mean that it is the amount that will cause an alarm if the change is bigger than the amount of alarmed pixels??Thanks....

I am trying to get zoneminder to work at night detecting the lights of planes and meteors,,etc in my night sky camera....So far no luck with the settings....I am not sure that zoneminder can be set sensitive enough to detect just a few pixel changes to my zone in the image....And i wonder if ...

Found my problem....Bad fujinon fisheye lens....odd,,because it was new and fujinon is a good name....They replaced it and my camera image is perfect....Thanks for all your help....
