Events > 32k and ZM stops
Whenever the # of event reaches ~32k, ZM stops recording. Since column ID is a unsigned INT, it should be able to reach 4294967295. Any idea why this could be? With sunlight and shadows, I can reach 32k events in a 6 weeks though my disk is only 40% full. I'd like to be able to retain more events ...

View All "error"?
When using View All, I get a event page showing the following output when the number of events is >= 5132. If my Event Filter results = 4849 events, View All will correctly display all the events. (I don't know the exact Event threshold, but it works when the # Events = 4849, and fails with the ...

Unable to delete events
I get the following when I try to delete events: function newWindow(Url,Name,Width,Height) { var Win = window.open(Url,Name,"resizable,scrollbars,width="+Width+",height="+Height); } function eventWindow(Url,Name,Width,Height) { var Win = window.open(Url,Name,"resizable,width="+Width+",height ...

I had the same issue with ineffective low lighting orange gas bulb street lights. My solution was to use a 0.0003 lux b/w camera. Sony is the only company that makes a 0.0003 lux CCD so it's fairly easy to find one online. I would suggest trying it instead of the IR cameras since I could never find ...

Displaying system uptime
A very simple request...I think.
Currently displayed is date/time, load, and disk%. Sometimes my system reboots and I don't even know it so it'd be nice to see a periodic update of system uptime.

Thanks Phil. ZM_WATCH_MAX_DELAY = 15 (I believe this is the default). Currently, I only have them set to capture at 10fps. A sample of my log is: Dec 14 09:21:16 cam zmc-d1[14968]: INF [Got TERM signal, exiting] Dec 14 09:21:16 cam zmc-d1[15118]: INF [Debug Level = 0, Debug Log = ] Dec 14 09:21:16 ...

Multiple redundant zmc processes.
I have been running ZM with a single camera for the better part of a week without any problems. However, when I start up a 2nd monitor/modetect monitor, it seems to spawn more and more zmc processes over time. Somehow, it's detecting that zmc -d 1 crashed with exit status 255 and spawning a new one ...

Streaming jpeg via Cambozola but not Mozilla
I just created a fresh installion of zm 1.19.5 on slackware 10/kernel 2.4.9. Everything went fairly smoothly except for some reason now I can't get any images without using cambozola (it works fine). I have long used Mozilla/Firefox to watch events and live streaming jpegs. However, now I just get ...

This really really sounds like a memory problem. I just had the same symtoms last month with my system. I ran memtest86, the Microsoft memory tester, and PC Bug Doctor memory tester for 48hrs with no problems at all but my system kept rebooting on me when I did anything useful. As soon as I replaced ...

Doug - I was considering a KWorld capture card( one bt878 w/four ports ) as the seem relatively inexpensive (~$150). Can you give any feedback on it? Can it capture at 640x480? How is the FPS? Is it worth the $150 or would I really be getting what I'm paying for? SeanAdams - I live in the Fremont ...

Problem with too many ZMC processes
I can't figure out why at least 2x a day, I have to manually go into my system and kill off all my ZMC processes.
I'm only capturing 1 camera, but I seem to always end up with multiple ZMCs hanging around. What would cause them to constantly respawn without killing off the previous one?
