I spoke too soon. The live images I am getting are being merged into older images. If there is no movement for a long time, everything looks fine, as the old images are the same as the new. Fixed!

I reinstalled the bttv drivers from CVS (which initially made the picture worse), then I tried the output from /dev/video1 (same camera channel), and looks OK (except it still looks washed out).

I managed to get a 16-channel Kodicom card shipped from Hong Kong (to the UK) for £60. Simply Automate want £122 (all inc) for their 4-port card.

Anyone know of a supplier of the Kodicom KMC4400R in the UK/EU? I'm trying to find a reasonably priced 4 port card.
