Re: 1.37.19 - Pause button works and red activty bars are back
I gather I do do analysis, as the images are stored, with the red motion outlines.
Is that not the case?
Is there some setting I should enable?

1.37.19 - Pause button works and red activty bars are back
Just an FYI I previously reported that the Pause button didn't work. Plus, I also reported that the red activity bars at the bottom of the event display window where sporadic though mostly missing. It seems the Pause button works now, with a caveat. When I resume/Play, the video zips in fast motion ...

Re: Broken v1.37.18 - ONVIF_Alarm_Txt
Ok, it's just that all previous updates of Zoneminder dealt with database updates in the manner described earlier.
If this is the way it is, then it's the way it is.

Re: Broken v1.37.18 - ONVIF_Alarm_Txt
My points are 1. DB changes should give a point version bump 2. DB Changes should be in the same form as previous DB changes 3. DB Changes should apply automatically with zmupdate.pl Failure on any of these points will potentially lead to a broken release distribution, down the track, as the DB ...

Re: Broken v1.37.18 - ONVIF_Alarm_Txt
sort of expected zmupdate.pl to do it's job. My Gentoo ebuild has not included this monitors_dbupdate.sql, which does not appear to conform to previous update naming standards, such as 'zm_update-1.37.9.sql' I did, however, find this rogue sql in the git repository, arrived about 17 hours prior to ...

Broken v1.37.18 - ONVIF_Alarm_Txt
Language translation issue I suspect. I found this text in two places. /usr/share/zoneminder/www/lang/es_la.php: 'ONVIF_Alarm_Txt' => 'Texto Alarma ONVIF', //added 18/07/2022 /usr/share/zoneminder/www/skins/classic/views/monitor.php: <td class="text-right pr-3"><?php echo translate('ONVIF_Alarm_Txt ...

Alarm Frames shown as red blocks in playback bar
Version 1.37.16 - Gentoo Linux. Just another observation. When viewing events, I notice that some events have 'red blocks' in the video progress bar, below the image display. I said 'some', I am unable to determine what triggers the display of these red blocks, as only about 1 in 5 of my events seem ...

Re: Pause button appears not to work in live streaming
I use a linux distribution called Gentoo, which builds almost everything from source, rather than download binary packages. Firstly, I browsed to a phpinfo.php file which contains <?php phpinfo(); ?> to see if my PHP had sysvipc enabled. You are looking for something like this... sysvipc-build.gif ...

Re: Pause button appears not to work in live streaming
I have a working (sort of) pause button! It appears I did not have sysvipc enabled in PHP! However, when I press pause, and then play, the event zooms (as in fast forwards) to the place I would have been had I not pressed pause. I also note that when I press pause, the video advances 1 frame, 5 ...

Re: Red outline indicating movement detected in events.
Ok. Of course, if some of the images had not had the red outline, I would not be asking this question :) I ask because I think the red outline is cool. Is that because I have analysis only at 10 frames per second but recording at 30 that only every 3rd frame or so has the outline? I had assumed that ...

Reviewing event frames
Version 1.37.16 - Gentoo Linux. When reviewing an event, I click on the 'frames' button, a list of frames is given, with some highlighted in Red to indicate they are alarm frames. So, all good, I click on a frame, and proceed to click the 'next' and 'previous' button, every third frame, alarm or not ...
