I have this LT Security wireless IP camera . The MJPEG feed from it works great with ZoneMinder. I do have a problem with the MPEG4 feed. Once I add it as a monitor and click it's name in the console the video looks like this and the framerate goes from like .5 FPS to just completely blanking out ...

I'm just now starting to get in to ZM, and this topic has piqued my curiosity.

What advantages are to be had from using x264 instead of whatever ZM uses otherwise?
