i'm going to post here just in case there are others with these sony ip cameras that are struggling. i fiddled with the settings on 1.24.2 for the better part of 3 days until i finally gave up and started focusing on getting 1.22.3 installed. the error i was getting while trying to compile 1.22.3 ...

i'm getting errors trying to compile 1.22.3 from source. i hope someone can point me in the right direction. i've searched and read all that i could find on setting up snc-m1w cameras but to no avail. i'm new to zoneminder but would really like to get this working.

i installed 1.24.2 via package manager aptitude in ubuntu 10.04 but i can't seem to get my 3 snc-m1w's to work. i've searched the forum and can only find patches for 1.22.3 that enable these ip cameras here http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=37361#37361 i downloaded the source for 1.24 ...
