Re: Incorrect Disk Usage %
Forgot one more output: [root@ruters ~]# php -r "print disk_free_space('/usr/share/zoneminder/www/events').' '.disk_free_space('/DVR/zoneminder/events');" 1124912504832 1124912504832[root@ruters ~]# /var/cache/zoneminder does not exist. The old thread is about ZM v.1.29, mine is 1.30.4. Hope problem ...

Re: Incorrect Disk Usage %
Old post but similar problem: Disk usage in ZM shows 0%, df shows 87%, filter works OK and deletes old events keeping stored events as expected. This is observed on just one machine with RAID0 with 3 * 3TB HDD. Below is the output of some commands: [root@ruters ~]# df -kh Filesystem Size Used Avail ...

Re: How to set old camera
The old analogue cameras cost 25 EUR, new HIK Vision 1MB outdoor IP camera is sold locally for ~80 EUR. I will buy a couple from these. Last year installed 15 pcs at the company warehouse, work fine with ZM, proved for 12 months already. This year plan to replace 2 old surveilance systems at 2 other ...

Re: How to set old camera
Got your point! The extra option "no_overlay=0" did not make any difference, I drop the idea to continue using the old hardware.
Will wait till -10C temperature outside adopts positive value to start stretching UTP cables for new IP cameras. . .
Case closed.

How to set old camera
Hi! I have been using 2 analogue cameras attached to PICO2000 on a Fedora17 system with ZM 1.25 showing B&W images. Today installed Fedora 23 and moved the PICO2000 board&cameras to it. ZM 1.28.1 installed from ZM repository with all dependancies (great relief!). But cameras show&record black or ...

Re: 420 TV lines Cheap Sony CCD - which pal resolution
I just noticed that the images are B/W when recording/viewing with both "grey" or "GBR" settings. The board is PICO2000, the cameras are colour, but the images in both IE and Firefox are B/W. jpg files properties are: 704*576 pixels, 120 dpi, 24 bit depth, frame 1. Can this configuration give colour ...

Re: 420 TV lines Cheap Sony CCD - which pal resolution
Thanks for the useful discussion. It saved me a lot of experimenting with resolution but not with "device format" and "capture palette". I have the cheapest possible IR cameras JK212 http://www.jmk.hk/en/productshow.aspx?id=339 and spent a lot of time to find out that just PAL Nc works, then palette ...

Re: Motion detect (modect) causes Ubuntu 10.04 to freeze
Thanks for the advice. I have old mainboards with appropriate heatsink, silicon thermoconductive paste etc. I will manage it. It is a strange problem as the box is installed in a cool basement and the side covers are removed, so cooling should be more than normal. Probably it is some lame PCB design ...

Re: Motion detect (modect) causes Ubuntu 10.04 to freeze
I think it is not a direct hardware problem: the same box had WinXP installed & DVR soft bundled with PICO2000 & simple internet sharing without any freezing. Then I experimented with FedoraCore6 for 2 months and Fedora14 for 1 months already (I need better routing, VPN to work and a testing ground ...

Re: Motion detect (modect) causes Ubuntu 10.04 to freeze
This is an old post about a different cause, but leading to tha same result with my box: it freezes randomly after 1 -24 hours. Freezing is total, no response at all even to CapsLock button press on the keyboard. Hardware restart/power down is the only way to restart the machine - it starts OK. The ...

Re: Mysql non standard port
It does not work for me this way. I stopped zm and mysqld, chaneged in my.cnf port = 3307, started mysqld, changed in zm.conf ZM_DB_HOST=localhost:3307, started zm and got FAILED. Log file says: Sep 5 10:47:22 skladr zmpkg[8871]: INF [Command: start] Sep 5 10:47:22 skladr zmfix[8883]: ERR [Can't ...

Re: 16CH China/Ebay Conextant Fusion 878A WORKING!
Connected just one camera to a chip with CPF=1 and got >20 FPS! Connected 2 cameras to channels 0 and 2 (not adjacent channels like 0-1 or 1-2), decreased capture_per_frame to 2, activatet V4L and got nearly 4 FPS with stable image and half the CPU load. This evening made the same experiment with a ...

Re: 16CH China/Ebay Conextant Fusion 878A WORKING!
I am also surprised that the max I get is only < 1 FPS from each one of the 2 cameras, connected to a bttv . I guess that 5 extra unused captures (to separate the streams coming from 2 cameras per 4 channel multiplexor) between the 2 used captures makes total 12 captures/sec. While the bttv claims ...

Re: 16CH China/Ebay Conextant Fusion 878A WORKING!
I palyed for a day with the card. Here are the results under ZM 1.24.2-6.fc14 (rpm from Fedora updates) with OS Fedora14 on DualCore 2.4GHz 1GB RAM, kernel shmall=shmmax=512MB: - Inserted modeprobe lines and configured 8 B/W cameras at 640/480, PAL, grey, VFL2 (VFL1 is not available) on video0(ch0-1 ...
