Well, I just tried it again and it decided to work this time. I don't know what I did to fix it. I don't know enough about linux and have been barely getting by with this whole setup. I have been trying to get emailing from zoneminder working by installing certain perl modules.

Thanks for the info. The first camera I had got was selected in the restricted monitors section. Unfortunately de-selecting it has not fixed the problem even after rebooting. The admin user appears to have all permissions at the fullest as well.

I have found that disabling OPT_USE_AUTH enabled the add new monitor button. I then added the new camera and it was working fine then i tried re-enabling authentication and my new monitor disappeared and the button is disabled again. It was using hashed and switching to plain has not fixed the ...
