Hi Oltas Thanks for that script and guidance. I copied the same in the /usr/share/perl5/ZoneMinder/Control path. Configured two monitors namely one with "remote" option selecting the FoscamV2.pm as the control device and another monitor with "ffmpeg" . Found out the "controlid" of the "remote ...

How to get a control script activated for FFMPEG source type
Hi All I've got some Foscam ( H.264) cameras. One of them is FI8620. I can view the cam in ZM 1.25 , configured as "ffmpeg" in the source type and "rtsp://user:pass@ip/12" in the source path. But i'm not able to specify the control script for PTZ control that this camera has. This cam supports PELCO ...

Re: Dlink PTZ control script needed
Thanks I'll try changing that "logger" to "debug" But i wonder why , the drop down for "control type" does not show anything ( it shows none), if the source type for that cam is selected as "ffmpeg" There are certain cams that support only H.264 and no mjpg. In that case I have to specify the source ...

Re: Dlink PTZ control script needed
I've tried the foscam script on FI8908 and FI8918 cams on ZM 1.24 . It work weel. Re: H.264 cameras gives "rolling hazy" views
HI Haven't tried the wi-fi yet. But i have configured a mix and match of mjpg as well as h.264 ones, to a total of 12 cameras. The mjpgs don't have any issue in live as well as event recording. But the h.264 have display problems intermittently. I've tried Axis 215, Q1755 , Asoni 420A as well as ...
