I solved this by setting timezone inside /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini

Could the time you see be coming from the camera instead of ZM? My GrandStream cams place a time string in the images, but their ntp built into the cans current storm very well so I disable it and let ZM handle that. Nope. Where does zoneminder get the time in the top left corner of the main window from ?

My events are all stored and displayed at the right time.

The server displays the correct time using the date command and /etc/timezone is also correct?
