Re: Events not found due to event naming issue
Thanks for confirming @johncolby I discovered the issue after restoring ZM from backup (due to hardware failure) and updated to the latest ZM version. I was worried it was something to do with the restore, but seems not. Looks like there were some recent changes to zm_event code https://github.com ...

Events not found due to event naming issue
Directories aren't being named correctly in 1.35.14 (Ubuntu PPA).
Either not matching the event ID or being placed in different directories. Really strange! See screenshots attached.
Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Re: Fail2Ban integration
Hi Guys, Thank you for your code gmar_87. I just added it to my fail2ban configuration but I don't get the failed login errors in my apache log (/var/log/apache*/*error.log) so it's not working. Can someone tell me how to have theses logs in my apache log please? Is there an option in the ...

Re: Fail2Ban integration
Hi guys, I got fail2ban working fine with sshd, but not with zoneminder. I used your updated conf files on your github, enabled it, i can see the "login denied" on the apache2 error.log file but it does nothing. When I try "fail2ban-client status zoneminder" I have 0 failed, why ? What am I missing ...

Fail2Ban integration
I've forked the latest version of Fail2Ban and added a filter and jail configuration for ZoneMinder failed web logins. My changes can be viewed on Github and will hopefully be included in future versions of Fail2Ban. https://github.com/fail2ban/fail2ban/compare/master...j-marz:master Basically, add ...

Re: Foscam FI9821W control script
Hey John, Thanks for the control script. I was just getting ready to write my own. I would be happy to give you a hand with it if you want it. I got one question for you. I keep getting a "Can't connect: No such file or directory" error. Any ideas on how to fix that? OR could you post your ...

Re: ZoneMinder 1.25 Puppet Module
I think i found the issue. The install fails if LAMP is already installed... I received the same errors when i tried to install on 64 bit when LAMP was already installed.
Just tried Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit with OpenSSH only and it worked.
Thanks

Re: ZoneMinder 1.25 Puppet Module
I double checked that the module still works on 64 bit, but don't have a 32 bit system lying around to debug it on. I can spin up a 32 bit VM. Any reason you're still using 32bit? Thanks for the update. I'm limited to 2GB of RAM for my ZoneMinder VM... From my experience with 64 bit Windows systems ...

Hi! I'm planning to use the above mentioned indoor cameras with zoneminder. May someone refer about zoneminder support/general hardware issues/video quality/long term stability? Some models suggested to complete the outdoor network with similiare features? thanks Nico Foscam FI9821W - http://www ...
