So I'm having a strange issue using TRENDnet TV-IP572PI. I have it set for FFMPEG stream. Tried several settings from lowering frame rate to lowering resultion.

I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 server with Zoneminder 1.25
It's a dual core processor machine with only 5 cameras.

What ports are used by "EyeZM" and "ZM View"? All of a sudden the apps aren't working. However, strangely enough everything else is working without issue. Any ideas what the issue could be? It seems like ZMview can log in and get a list of the cameras. However, I can't seem to get video.

I have tried that. It gives me the same error. Something I compiled messed up the version of ffmpeg.

Has anybody tried to install from source on Ubuntu 10.04? I was just wondering how active development was? It seems like more than a year since anything has been created or developed for this.

That's quite the setup you have. We were using iSpy previously with WindowsXP and 17 cameras. The system was very unstable. We switched to Zoneminder and never looked back. We have branched out and started setting up security systems. We would like to continue to support Zoneminder and help develop it further.

Here is a start. To be honest though there is no easy way since it depends on how the authentication is handled by zonerider.

Is there any way to create a direct link so as soon as you log in you get the montage view in 1/4x scale?

Yea sorry I installed the package in the repositories. I used one of the howto guides. Sorry I linked the wrong one. I did not install from source.
