Re: slow down capture, speed up analysis or increase ring bu

BB99,

I'll give it a whirl. It kinda got pushed to the side by the craziness of daily business. I'll let ya know ;)

Thanks again.

Re: No modetect

@Master, I was having issues patching it. Tons of errors and such. The patch I was using wanted zm_jpeg.c not zm_jpeg.cpp. So I can attempt to install this the same way I did before. Can you please link me to the post your referring to. So that I know I am using the right info. This is gonna go on ...

Re: No modetect

Blobs is tricky to tune right and at the moment, analysis image is broken in my patch so there isn't much benefit in using Blobs motion detection. Try using Alarmed Pixels, with minimum difference of 30 and area of 1%. This should generate many false alarms. Then, slowly increase\play with this ...

Re: slow down capture, speed up analysis or increase ring bu

I just realized with your progress that I've done you a disservice. You can bring up an event and clink on stills; if you have options::config::CREATE_ANALYSIS_IMAGES ticked you can look at exactly what ZM saw as motion and what it did not based on the red border (based on your posted zone settings ...

Re: slow down capture, speed up analysis or increase ring bu

So this is what I came into today. 12 Events, based off the same 'visit' in the room. You say increase your post buffer? What exactly is that? The Post Frames? At this point, I happen to be the only one working on the project as the other guy is back to asterix for now. And so far, you have done me ...

Re: slow down capture, speed up analysis or increase ring bu

So, I adjusted those settings to what you suggested and it seems to work a TON better. Weird thing is my admins go up, and walk through, and zoneminder made three seperate videos. Seems each zone they went into, it made a new event. But then I went up and had a single event for the whole thing ...

Re: slow down capture, speed up analysis or increase ring bu

BB99, that makes tones of sense. Very weird tho.

My only problem is there are lights on the systems that come on and off, which trigger alarms.

Re: slow down capture, speed up analysis or increase ring bu

So this is weird, I reset the zone to your settings and its odd. I walked into the room, did a circle of it all and then walked out the door. Well it shows the door open, me come in, walk to the end of the cage then it turns me around and shows me walking about. So those settings for sensitivity ...

Re: slow down capture, speed up analysis or increase ring bu

I reset the zone sensitivity of the door to what you suggested. Going to run up and try it out.

The cameras seem clean, I can pull the live view from them, and it seems to be fine. Machine's been rebooted and it sunning at a .7 load.

Zones for the first Cam.

If you look, top left is the door coming in. Then Cage doors, and the floor.

Re: slow down capture, speed up analysis or increase ring bu

Ok....so I guess the post frames is what was the problem with that. how many posts do I need to have until I can post a picture? This time, the event didn't start until I was already in the room and had been standing in it for a while. In other words, it didn't see me in the picture until I had been ...

Re: slow down capture, speed up analysis or increase ring bu

I did, and I will use your snap shot here. The thing that its doing now is it creates 6 events for when I am up there, instead of just running a straight event for teh entire time, it closes one, opens a new one, closes one, opens a new one. Real jutty picture tho. Like I said, now the door opens ...
