it seems that none of my cameras are UVC compatible ...

anyway i'll probably buy a Foscam F18904W Wireless from Ebay, however i'm not sure if it is going to work with centos and zoneminder without much fuss. If you know any cameras that will please let me know.

also it seems that lsusb can find my camera

and the camera works if i test it with some other application
please help, i'm in the dark here

ok I've tried two cameras they both seem to have issues when displaying the video one 10 year old creative webcam 3(usb). It says in the wiki it is supported by zoneminder however even when i tried every possible combination for device format and capture pallete i wasn't able to see the video ...

fixed it there are two short_open_tag entries in php.ini, you need to change both

unfortunately there no such directories in Centos
