It has now been 4 weeks since I updated Zoneminder to version 1.29.0, and I havn't hat a glitch since. So I consider the problem as solved.
As I have said before: CentOS7 and Zoneminder 1.29 seems to be a very good combination.

Re: Viewing live stream stops without reason.
@dazed - Just a status update! It has been 10 days since I updated zoneminder to 1.29.0. I did it the "official" way ie. "yum update" which means not only zoneminder but also the whole system was updated. As I wrote ealier it might be weeks between incidents, so there is nothing definate yet, but it ...

Re: Viewing live stream stops without reason.
Today I updated zoneminder to version 1.29.0 from zmrepo to see if this brings any change to my problem. Immediately after upgrading, it wasn't possible to view any camera - I simply got no camera-picture at all. A reboot of the OS brought it back to normal, and everything is working now. I just ...

Re: Viewing live stream stops without reason.
I'm using Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. The main Zoneminder page is left open when viewing the montage, and PATH_SWAP is poiting to /dev/shm.

Re: Viewing live stream stops without reason.
I can add a little more information to the above problem: The mentioned socket (zms-611021s.sock) does indeed exist, and it's owned by apache:apache. Is it normal with hundreds of socket-files in the /var/lib/zoneminder/sock directory ? I don't thimk the problem has anything to do with the pc ...

Viewing live stream stops without reason.
I have a zoneminder ver. 1.28.1 running og CentOS7. Zoneminder was installed from zmrepo, and it generally runs fine, but from time to time it stops the live streaming of all camera's, but the input streams from the cameras apparently continues, as the recognition and saving of events continues ...

Re: Extremely Slow Web Interface
Hi again, In order to rule-out any OS (and HW for that matter) dependancy, I have installed CentOS-7 in an virtual machine (wmvare workstation on Win-7) with zoneminder 1.28.1 from zmrepo and this has exatly the same problem. After a while zoneminder locks-up and an enormous amount of Apache (in ...

Re: Extremely Slow Web Interface
Hi, I have got a similar problem. When replaying an event it is sometimes very slow at updating the progress bar, and comming to an end (the pause-button turns green). At the same time the progress-time shows some funny numbers like 15:26.34:40s. I'm running zm ver 1.28.1 on Ubuntu 14.04LTS server ...

Re: newbie question. it cant possibly be this hard...
@atreus769 HURRAY HURRAY HURRAY it worked! with just some minor flaws like: When I press Tele the camera zooms out and vise versa. My Camera has no diagonally movement and no Wake or Sleep, but it should be rather easy to correct now that it is working basically. I suppose I can just swap the tele ...

@atreus769 Hi again, The line in the PM-file you mention has right from the beginning been updated with username and password. It might not be in the copy of the file I send to you, but I have just re-checked it is in the actual pm-file. Your 2.nd suggestion doesn't work either - I still get status ...

@atreus769. This is my 2.nd attept to answer your questions - the first one apparenly somehow got lost in space . . . Again thanks a lot for taking the time to help me out. To the facts: My camera model is Apexis APM-J901-Z-WS. The setup is exatly as described in the zoneminder device list for this ...

Hi,
For my sake I'm absolutely certain my Control-file is /usr/share/perl5/ZoneMinder/Control/ApexisMjpegIP.pm.
So it must be something else !!
Have you got any other ideas ?
Regards

Re: newbie question. it cant possibly be this hard...
@jfreetrader I'm afraid this is not a solution to your (our) problem, as i'm having the same problem, just with an Apexis J901 PTZ camera. Aparently noone has a solution to this problem, whitch makes ZoneMinder more or less useless with PTZ cameras. I have seen several entries in the Forum ...
