Re: Capturing Still Images?
I finally got a LT 4000 Pro USB camera working along with a TrendNet IP410 but I cant figure out how to save a single image file at a set interval and ftp, scp or send the image file elsewhere? Video works fine, but I need to capture a still as well and send them elsewhere. This question gets asked ...

I would like to do this, too. Can't imagine why such a seemingly simple operation can't be programmed into zoneminder.brised wrote:We would like to simply upload the most recent image via FTP to our web site every 30 seconds whether there is movement or not to exactly the same file name on the web server.

Re: IP cameras not all show picture in montage view
How do you fix this for Chromium? I could not find a similar config page.
With Chromium, I can see six out of eight cameras. The other cameras record properly and can be viewed individually, but they do not all appear on the montage screen.

New Install after crashed database, no ZM
I had a working setup for several years. Last week, something happened that suddenly gave me a 404 error when logging into ZM. After spending hours trying all sorts of "fixes" from different posts, I finally deleted the ZM usr directory and reinstalled the ZM from the default repository (I'm not ...

Re: Help Using Dedicated Hard Drive
Thanks for your attention to my issue. I meant to link to your page as the inspiration for my actions. Yes, I followed your directions, or at least I think I did. Obviously, I have missed something. It was after following those directions that I had the errors and tried to change the permissions of ...

Help Using Dedicated Hard Drive
I have a fully operating Zoneminder system, at least until I followed the directions here to setup a dedicated hard drive for recording events and images. Now I am not recording anything. The log file shows: 2013-05-17 zmfix 2327 ERR Can't stat /dev/video7: No such file or directory zmfix.cpp 86 ...

Change XML Skin back to Classic
I had my ZM setup just great for the past year. Then I thought I would explore some features and changed the skin from Classic to XML. Now all I see is XML text when I start ZM.
How can I manually change the configuration file to go back to the Classic skin?
Thanks.

Re: Almost There

I had to use: /dev/video0 (0 ...

Re: Almost There
I now have one of my cctv cameras online. However, if I try to setup a second camera it interferes with the first camera even though I have them set for different channels. Do I need to create a device for each of my cameras or do they all work off video0?

Almost There
I am new to Ubuntu and Zoneminder. As a former VB programmer and hack from the 1980s I am making a lot of progress in learning the system. I am running 64 bit Ubuntu 12.10 with ZM 1.25, and installed the Java plugin. My machine is a Quad Core Q8200 with 8GB RAM. I cannot remember the exact brand of ...
