Latest UPDate !! IT's Working !!

Cordel,

Finding out the screen size and being able to use that seems to have done the trick...

Thanks for your help again...

I'm just off to see if I can break it now...

More info...

I have found the .png images on my desktop.

Using the picture viewer I can see the attributes.

The image size is 720 x 576 and a size of 1.2Mb !!!

Is this something that ZM can manage?

I have changed the setting for my capture card in the ZM I/F appropriately/

Logs, logs and more logs....

Cordel, Thanks for sticking with me on this. I'll try to provide the info you requested. I stopped ZM and cleared out the logs. I then restarted ZM to try and capture the relevant info in ZM logs zmdc.log Server starting at 06/02/14 14:06:59 'zmc -m 10' started at 06/02/14 14:07:02 'zmc -m 10 ...

Settings confirmed

Hi Cordel, I had used the settings you suggested in the first place, during an early satges of installing zoneminder I did have a USB camera working for testing using similar settings. For a short while I did get an image, but it seems a little hit and miss. I was able to change settings 'on the fly ...

Cordel, Thanks for the quick response. I have attached the results of dmesg | grep bttv. I hope you can do something with this... I will also try to install the other TV App to see if that helps me... I have connected a receiver to the card (UK SKY TV) and I am very impressed with the quality under ...

Help setting up BT878 (PV SD 149 P) 4 port 4 chip card

Please be gentle as zoneminder is my only working Linux App... Still playing with Asterisk... I have been using Zoneminder with two MV1000s which has shown me how good Zoneminder is and how poor the MV1000s are... I have taken the plunge and bought the following card http://www.simplyautomate.co.uk ...

Hi Jim, It does work, in a fashion. I have two MV1000's one with 4 cameras which is very flaky and another with 1 camera which seems more stable... I have the cameras set to 0.5 fps to try to help but even then it is still a problem. It's a real shame as I like to use dedicated H/W when possible and ...

Unable to go 'Back' to Search results

Not sure if I am being thick but when I do a search I tend to read a thread and then use the @back' button in IE6 to return to the search results. I find it is the easiest way to look through the many matches you typically get. However, on this board I get 'Page hase expired' rather than the search ...

MV1000. it's working...

Well Guys,

It's working...

I made the changes, picture size and colour rather than greyscale and no improvement.

I then restarted zm through the console and it is now working...

I'll be adding a few more cameras to see how I get on.

Thanks again

Nigel, now very happy...

Using an MV1000

Guys, I am having trouble configuring Zoneminder to view images from an MV1000. I have a USB camera connected to the ZM Server which appears to be working fine. I have configured: ZM_OPT_USE_AUTH to yes ZM_AUTH_METHOD to yes ZM_NETCAM_REGEXPS to yes ZM_HTTP_VERSION to 1.1 ZM_OPT_REMOTE_CAMERAS to ...

If I use the same command in IE6 I can connect and download, but it seems to download continuosly so I canceled it ...

The camera is at his workshop, NAT'ed over the internet to my home where I can connect via IE6... He has opted for Port 2000 I have put in his Remote Host Name <user>:<pass>@XX.XXX.XX.XX ...
