Dear community,
I wonder if someone was able to setup Y-Cam Outdoor HD Pro (model HMHDE05) camera in ZoneMinder? Please share your experience.

Re: Can't make ZoneMinder+avconv working with H.264 camera
You got some kind of response when you tried from the command line, but as you can see from the dropped RTP packets, something doesn't seem right. Were you able to play back the saved file? Indeed, there are some packets dropped, in particular, that results frames like that , but that is not so ...

Can't make ZoneMinder+avconv working with H.264 camera
Dear ZoneMinder community, I am trying to make ZoneMinder to work with my H264 IP camera FI9805W. ZoneMinder used to work OK with ffmpeg package, but when it was replaced by libav-tools, I cannot make it working. First of all I have tested that I am able to capture the video from the camera using ...

Re: zmc consumes 100% CPU if video stream cannot be opened
I am facing difficulties about how to debug zmc . Is it possible to create binaries that only have symbol information, the way it is done in squid3-dbg ? I have something to say concerning the function int FfmpegCamera::PrimeCapture() { Info( "Priming capture from %s", mPath.c_str() ); if ...

Re: zmc consumes 100% CPU if video stream cannot be opened
And I have also noticed, that if camera hostname is not given correctly, zmc also starts eating CPU. Does it make sense to add sleep() in zm_ffmpeg_camera.cpp:264? Thanks for any hint in advance.

zmc consumes 100% CPU if video stream cannot be opened
Hi everyone, I my setup I have few cameras, one of which has connectivity problems. When I start Zoneminder 1.28.0 (but I think the problem does not depend on version), it starts to consume 100% CPU trying to read from this camera. From logs: ERR Unable to open input rtsp://10.0.0.1:8080/ due to ...

Re: ffmpeg replaced by avconv? (debian)
And that makes a lot of sense, as ffmeg is back (at least to Ubuntu).cambot wrote:I hope that Zoneminder will have the option of using original ffmpeg like it does currently.

Re: Cannot find out the source for Foscam FI9805W
After I have upgraded current Debian (v1.25.0-4) with recompiled ZoneMiner from master branch (v1.26.5-1) it magically started to work. There is still an issue with RTSP streaming also mentioned in wiki and on this forum here and there : periodically camera sends a damaged frame, which causes an ...

Re: ZoneMinder does not show camera view in zone editor
/usr/share/zoneminder/www typically contains static data. The events and images are typically stored in /var/lib/zoneminder/[events,images] DIR_IMAGES is typically pointing to "images" which is a symlink from /usr/share/zoneminder/www/images to /var/lib/zoneminder/images Same goes for DIR_EVENTS ...

Additional fields to pass user/password for control script
Usually camera control script needs a userId/password to perform e.g. rotate operation. Is it possible to add two extra fields to UI and DB for them (next to "Control Type", "Control Device", "Control Address", ...)?

ZoneMinder does not show camera view in zone editor
When I try to edit a zone for the given camera, the camera view is not rendered. Log file reads: ERR Can't open Zones1.jpg: Permission denied zm_image.cpp 402 so I believe ZoneMinder is trying to create JPEG image somewhere in current directory, which is not writeable. cwd for zmc and zma processes ...

Cannot find out the source for Foscam FI9805W
Dear ZoneMinder users, I have Foscam FI9805W IP camera and I am trying to set it up with ZoneMinder. I have followed the instructions on wiki page , but after I have defined the source: rtsp://<user>:<password>@<ip>:88/videoMain I see in the log: 'zma -m 3' exited abnormally, exit status 255 and ...

Overload Frame Ignore Count - I usually start with a value of 4 for outside monitors, 0 for inside Alarm Frame Count - I usually start with a value of 2 for inside and outside The above values are for 10 fps monitors. In my case FPS varies from 11.8 to 13.1 (the value was taken from "Watch" view ...

What is the difference between the parameter Overload Frame Ignore Count (zone setting) and Alarm Frame Count (monitor setting)? What values can you recommend?bb99 wrote:It specifies how many alarm frames to ignore in a row before going into alarm state and recording.

Sorry, if I repeat somebody's question. Difficult to locate a duplicate post. My question concerns filter functionality. First of all, how is it possible to execute an arbitrary program and somehow pass %EI%, %EN%, … as arguments or as substituted template to STDIN? What is passed now, is only $ ...
