I ordered a server for zoneminder with 4TB and two 8CH bt878 cards, but out of some fluke of engineering the bt878 cards won't fit into the PCI-X slots of the server without lifting the PCI risers and shorting either the 3.3v or 5v connections out, they do however work fine in a lower end server ...

I'm installing ZoneMinder on an Ubuntu machine and would like to stream a live view of 16 channels on a full-screen view to the attached VGA monitor - what is the best way to do this with a minimal impact on performance?
