I can confirm his script works and works well. I have stored presets and done PTZ on 8 cameras representing 2 models (their indoor and outdoor POE PTZ dome cameras). Preset appear to properly store on camera, they are accessible from other interfaces than Zoneminder.

I had a similar error after I had compiled from source then tried to install the package. What worked for me was an apt-get remove followed by manually deleting the file and zoneminder directory at that location in your error message and then re-installing with an apt-get.

Well never mind. After getting some advice on the MythTV list I realized it was operator error all along. The latest version of MythTv works fine with mapped memory and all the Ubuntu (mythbuntu actually) work fine out of the box. Now on to getting Lua scripting on my Vera working.
