Never mind I figured it out... the default objectconfig.ini file has the following sample entry
[general]
portal=https:/server/zm
I'd used https:/zoneminder.topnoc.co.uk for mine... where as it should be https://zoneminder.topnoc.co.uk

Am I to assume I'm the only one who has a zm install that is using all available upstream bandwidth regardless of the VIDEO_BITRATE in settings? I ask because if the bitrate setting is not working for zoneminder as a whole then its a pretty major failure as I'd of thought a lot of people here intend ...

ZM ignoring WEB_M_VIDEO_BITRATE???
Hi, It seems setting the WEB_M_VIDEO_BITRATE in options - Medium B/W has no effect what so ever. Whatever I set it to it simply swamps the upstream connection when I remotely view a monitor. I've checked the SQL DB and it is being set when I change the value in the config. Any ideas anyone? Cheers
