It’s just a general DB thing and not ZM specific. A quick Google will present some options. Dumping the DB, deleting the files and then restoring will be one way.

As long as a camera offers a high and low stream, it’s pretty manageable. Ideally you’d want the viewer software to be aware and just montage the low rates and switch when you select an individual camera. The Hikvision software does this pretty well. Ubuntu is probably a better match for ZM.

Which points to the problem being with the software on the Pi.

Isn’t Frigate run in a container?

It would usually log something.

Try running zmaudit.

Try it on the commandline of the Pi.

I’d suggest using Slack as that’s where the Developers hang out.

I use ZMNinja for control and use the stop button (Hikvision camera).
