Re: Credentials
Addendum: I've run "mysqlcheck' on the zm database and everything shows OK. I've also tried creating a new user, and have the same result on the web portal. I suppose if there are no suggestions, the next thing I will look at is upgrading Zoneminder, and (hopefully) preserving my settings, zones ...

Credentials
Hi. The credentials for both of the accounts I access my Zoneminder web portal with have stopped working. I've reset the MySQL database passwords on both of these users and restarted ZM, but still no access. It's as if the passwords are incorrect, and I never get beyond the login window. The system ...

Device References
Two questions: I had two local USB cameras connected but removed one. How do I get rid of the periodic errors such as 'zmc -d /dev/video1' exited abnormally, exit status 255? I assume there is a way to delete the reference to that device in Zoneminder, since the device no longer exists. Similarly ...

Limit to first N results
"Limit to first N results" Can this option be applied to a certain range of time, and then essentially be reset? Basically, I'd like to get alerts for the first few events in a given range of time, but then later be able to get alerts again after "N" has been achieved the first time, and a ...

Re: Event Hung
Brilliant Dave. Recreating the monitors worked for me also. And I see that this is apparently resolved with v1.26, so I'll upgrade when I have time. The program so far has worked flawlessly (with that one exception, now resolved). And for the remote USB camera, I had an old Windows XP computer ...

az10, thanks for your reply. I'll keep testing and let you know if I find a solution, and would appreciate it if you would do the same.

Event Hung
ZoneMinder 1.25.0-4 on Debian 7.0. I have a Panasonic BL-C1A, which was in Modect mode. I have only one filter currently set up and it's to run a script when motion is detected, and this has been working. So, I noticed a new motion event but instead of being numbered it was listed as "New Event" and ...

Re: Command Syntax
Nevermind, I figured this out. I didn't have the correct shell specified for www-data.
Shell scripts work fine.

Re: Command Syntax
I figured this would be a simple answer, but if not, is it possible for someone to post a simple script that works on their system? And (trying not to overlook anything obvious), I check the "execute a command" box and I assume that the field that's to the right of this box is meant to be used to ...

Command Syntax
Hi. ZoneMinder 1.25.0-4 on Debian 7.0. Would someone please tell me what the syntax is for using "Execute command on all matches" on an event filter? Does it require a Perl script, and if so does it need to be somewhere specific? What's the easiest way to execute a plain old shell script? Right now ...
