ClamAV would be my recommendation. It is maintained by SourceFire which created and owns Snort. Many others use the snort libraries for their security software and repackage it (like McAfee). It's opensource, it's cross platform, it's free, up-to-date, and consumes low resources.

Hello, I just confirmed that this works for the Cisco CIVS-IPC-5010 and 5011. This camera is not the newest model, but it does support 1920x1080. The picture is nice and clear, even in low light. I should also add that you can stream to VLC using the same RTSP string. Go to File -> Open Network -> "rtsp://<username>:<password>@<ip address>/StreamingSetting?version=1.0&action=getRTSPStream&ChannelID=1&ChannelName=Channel1" the username and password were created in the camera's web gui.
