my zoneminder main page moved to localhost/zm/www after the update to 1.28.104

Ok, I messed up... I turned on user authentication and now I cant login anymore. I was using the Flat interface, and after I checked the box for authentication, I looked for the Users tab but did not see it. I eventualy hit save, and got loged out... Now I cant login at all. When I did this, I first mounted the drive without the additional bindings in the fstab (first line only). I created the directories in the mounted drive, then added the extra bindings (lines 2 and 3) and re-mounted the drive.

I believe you can also use vlc to stream. I just installed it on my pi. It can capture images with Video For Linux and a few other ways. It can then send a stream. I dont have a pi with a cam so I cant test it live.

I did the last posted change and re-checked all the mods in the zmfilter file. No joy, I still get the message about needing an explicit package for Config.

You could be getting continuous alarms. Such as the sun glistening on snow, etc. The new zone minder is more sensitive by default. I had similar slowdowns until I discovered this. Open your camera settings, and set Reference Image Blend % to 6.25. Do the same for Alarm Reference Image blend. Also ...

I have had teh same issue, with the sun glimmering on snow. Continuous events for an hour or more. I wish there was a way to force those to be chopped in 10 min chunks. After reading these posts, I went looking for the blend settings. I must be blind, I dont find them anywhere either in the options ...
