I never could get my cameras working with Kubuntu 13.10. they would just show up as a blank screen. So I went ahead and just migrated to 14.10 Beta. I noticed a couple things right away. First, my system felt a little "zippier". Mabye that's just wishful thinking, but it sure aint slower. Second ...
