The issue is still present in the current debian buster package!
Removing the # from User=www-data in the systemd unit file is fixing it!

Re: Is ZoneMinder good for securing/rebroadcasting RTSP streams?
zm is perfect for the "trusted server" but imho you don't need the router#2, you can definitely block all traffic to/from the cams on router#1 as well, leaving one single forward open to the zm server. if you do want to isolate the cams from your own home lan as well, you can do that on router#1 too.

Re: PTZ Mapped move
with this setup, no.
but do you really need digital zoom in the browser if your cam is capable of real optical zoom?
if yes, you could put a button on the button bar to toggle between movemap and zoom. the last button is zoom out, you just have to replicate it as zoom in

Re: PTZ Mapped move
after a few hours, found the solution! there are actually two errors: first, the Axis API expects integers for the mapped move, watch.js needs parseInt() function handleClick( event ) { var target = event.target; var x = parseInt(event.page.x - $(target).getLeft()); var y = parseInt(event.page.y ...

PTZ Mapped move
It has already popped up 2 years ago in a topic:
In a live view of a PTZ camera capable of mapped move, clicking on the image makes a zoom instead of the mapped move to the clicked point.
Running 1.32.3 with Axis v2 control.
Has anyone found the solution?

In 1.32.3, clicking on the image is still zooming, instead of the mapped move!

Hi, I'm using stock zm 1.30.4 running on debian 9.5 Everything is working fine, except, for a while now, I can't change any setting through the web ui. Re: Timestamp font adjustments
We would badly need this feature, too.
Several users complained about the timestamps being unreadable, even on lower resolutions.
