Sorry, forgot to mention that....it works with VLC, VLC says the codec is h264.

The cam seems to be a clone of the Foscam FI9828W The last days I tried to figure out the problem trough the logfile, but now luck. Hello,

a quick ffplay rtsp://username:password@10.3.100.111:88/videoMain is showing me the stream of the camera, so ffmpeg seems to work.
