Is there a way to set up ZM such that my admin account can only be accessed via my LAN, while the user account is still accessible via the internet (WAN)? For security reasons, I don't want to expose the admin account to the internet. I'm running ZM on an Ubuntu 18 server with Apache. Doable? Thanks ...

I have a ZM 1.32 server running on Ubuntu Server 18 with Apache 2. All traffic is through HTTPS/SSL. I access ZM via either web browsers or zmninja. My question pertains to setting up the login mode for ZM. I have OPT_USE_AUTH enabled and the AUTH_TYPE is "built-in". I've been unable to enable ...

I discovered the problem... can't add a monitor from Foscam F19821W Preset. If I just enter all the data from scratch, then it works. But, not by editing starting from the preset.

I did a fresh install on Ubuntu Server 18.04.1 (onto which I had installed a LAMP stack). I followed the "easy way" script for the distro.

I'm still having trouble getting the controls to work. Is there something I should edit? I'm afraid I'm new to ZM and still fairly new to linux. So, I'm not quite sure where to look to begin debugging this.

Does ZM expect ONVIF to be on a certain port?

Still no luck, I'm afraid. I set the Control Device to the password for the camera's admin account (which has "operator" privs), but the camera won't respond to any of the controls. The source type is ffmpeg and the function is "Monitor", if that matters (the video looks fine, just the controls don ...

Update: I did figure out to set the OPT_CONTROL flag. Here's my Control tab setup...

Control type: Foscam 19821W
Control device: (blank)
Control address: 192.168.1.82
(Rest of fields are defaults)

I get controls on the video screen, but they do not respond to clicks.

How to fix?
