adding this line to lists did not work:

deb zmrepo zoneminder / debian wheezy main contrib non-free rpi

apt-get update shows errors:

Err zmrepo zoneminder wheezy/main armhf Packages
404 Not Found

I tried pulling it from sid or testing and even from Ubuntu PPA but no luck
Why there is no PPA for anything later than 1.25 for Debian ????
It's been 4 years since 1.25 and no updates on Debian??
