Thanks for the input, but these are all the things I currently do when a camera goes out. As far as running an ethernet cable, the cameras that are doing this do not have ethernet connections.. I am just looking for a way to autorestart ZM when it shuts down because it is generating too many events ...

lol.. well, I did not see those instructions because I usually move my mouse of the alarmed areas and then those instructions disappear. just tried it and sure enuff... thanks for pointing that out to me.... Now another question... I have a couple of cameras that are right at the limit of my wifi ...

Thanks for the response, no worries about the weather, I come from the tornado belt in Texas so understand completely and now live in the AZ high country where the winter storms knock out the power for days and same thing in the monsoon seasons during the Summer. I have several Wansview cameras and they are running great in ZM, but I just bought a 2 camera deal that is the new W4 "cloud" camera... thanks bbunge, got it to work to view the single camera, but it still does not show up in montage with the others...... hmmmm one step closer tho
