Hello all, i have zoneminder running on my freenas machine, and i am trying to get email alerts working. The guide cover ubuntu, anyone have it working with freebsd?

Well, tried everything and this is the only way i got it working

apt-add-repository ppa:ondrej/php
apt-get update

apt-get install php7.0-apcu
apt-get install php7.0-apcu-bc

New install of 1.32.2 on mint 19 (ubuntu 18.04). Everything seems to be working great but the API. Get this when checking version. Any ideas? thanks! Hello all, trying to figure out a few issues. Running v1.30.0. (I cant remember what version i started, but i have upgraded several times.) After the last upgrade the web interface said i had 0 events and 0 archived events. (however the images are still in the events folder.) since then, new events ...

Finally just uninstalled, started with 1.26.5 and upgraded, now everything is good.

Okay....now i am getting the following message when i go to localhost/zm

Cannot write to content dirs('events','images'). Check that these exist and are owned by the web account user.

They exist, didnt see anything about changing ownership or permissions on these directories?

hmm. thought i had it figured out but still no luck

Having trouble installing 1.28 from scratch on mint 17. going through the ubuntu server guide, i am getting stuck at the a2enmod zoneminder command which is returning ERROR: Module zoneminder does not exist. Any ideas?

Thanks bb, everything seems to be working correctly now. I did notice that the pan and tilt controls use a pretty big step, do you know if there is any way to move them less with a single click?

Well.... made some progress and lost some too . Just updated to v1.28.107. Now the controls seem to be working, but now there is no windows to view the stream. (I brought up the stream in vlc, and verified that the controls now work.)

Thanks for the tips guys. Yeah, i already tried setting my port to 80 just to see if there was any change and no luck. Bill, yes, tried those settings with no luck either. I even created a user called admin like the wiki page suggests and still no love. I can move it using the cgi commands manually ...

Had the same problem with 1.26.5.

I do get the following message after i try and move the camera
