Re: Default purge filter
Follow up: I did find a lot of files under /var/lib/mysql/binlog.xxxxxx and deleted them. The system still works and I can pull up events from several years ago. But I would still like to know about the default purge when full filter. If someone could post me a screen shot of their default purge ...

Default purge filter
I have two drives in my ZM system. The default drive is a 120gb ssd for the kubuntu OS and the zm system. The other is a 2TB events drive that stores all the events. I created a purge when full filter for the 2TB events drive and it works as it should. My problem is that the 120gb ssd with the OS ...

No sound when viewing live stream
I'm new to 1.36 so this might be a dumb question that I can't find an answer for. Recording events records audio with the event and it works fine. But If I watch a camera in real time I don't get sound with it. Is it supposed to be this way? When I was playing around with 1.36 on another computer ...

Re: Purge When Full filter for a dedicated drive
OK I got it figured out. All them little down arrows are for a drop down box to create new filters. I feel like a dummy now. Thanks for the help.

Re: Purge When Full filter for a dedicated drive
How did you get the - Storage Area equal to New Storage line in your 4PurgeWhenFull2 filter? I can't bring that up or create it. I have Archived Status equal to Unarchived Only Disk Percent greater than or equal to 95 and End date time is not NULL I don't have a Storage Area equal to New Storage Any ...

Purge When Full filter for a dedicated drive
I added a second drive to my Kubuntu ZM 1.36 I have one 4K camera writing to that drive and it is recording and is about half full. On the ZM Wiki page for adding a dedicated drive there's a 9 step process and step 8 says is "We now need a filter, that will delete on our new storage area. Navigate ...

No RTSP sources.
I have had zm running on Lubuntu for 3 or 4 years with no problems. This was installed from a Lubuntu Live CD (I think bbunge was the author) It was based on Ubuntu_Server_14.04_64-bit_with_Zoneminder_1.29.0. I have 8 Icam2 cameras on a DellT3500 4 core, 8 threads, 12 gb RAM. I just did a Kubuntu 20 ...

Sercomm I cam 2 Cameras don't work in zm1.32
Had ZM 1.29 installed from Lubuntu live cd for two years on a HP xw4600 work station. HP died on me so I installed ZM 1.32 on a Dell T3500 work station, using 'Ubuntu Server 18.04 64-bit with Zoneminder 1.32.x the easy way' from the ZM wiki. All my wired cameras started up and were working again and ...

Re: ZM 1.29.0 My Opinion review bugs quirks.
Lost-- I spent about 3 months time trying to get a ZM system up and running and I was a Linux user for about 7 years but I too was lost. And frustrated. And I finally gave up and went and bought a 8 port generic Chinese DVR / NVR. Then I spent about a month or so learning how to set up alarm zones ...

Re: Getting ICamera 1000 to Work
hi I have an Icam2 which is basically the same as the icam 1000. I had to wire mine into the ethernet through my router - the wireless just won't connect for me. ThenIn Zoneminder add a new camera and under the General tab; set Source Type = Remote, Maximum FPS=5 Under Source tab: Remote Protocol ...
