ZM v 1.34.26; Ubuntu 18.04 I have activated the firewall in Ubuntu and installed UFW. the UFW gui says IN blocked; OUT not blocked. Therefore cannot access ZM with a web browser from other then the server PC that ZM resides on at 192.168.1.131/zm/index.php. what ports IN do I need to open? I've done ...

I completely removed Zoneminder.

re-installed following install instructions Zoneminder web site.

all went well, no errors.

Same problem exits alarms don't save, can't delete archived alarms. Noting in log about deletes.

Perhaps an issue with mysql or apache?

Any other ideas?

Today I noticed shm usage up to 22%

also noticed I cannot delete any old alarm files

I ran the command to check shm, looks ok to me++ df -h|grep "Filesystem\|shm" Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on tmpfs 3.9G 428M 3.5G 11% /dev/shm On the console space is === Storage: Default: 71% /dev/shm: 12% Remember I did not add any new cameras, the problem just popped up. Thanks DAN

One day I looked at ZM, and all my archives were gone. Also events count reset back to #1.

what happened and how do I restore the archives?

Some how I set the Event view rate to 2x, from the default 1x.

How do I go back to default 1x? Can't find anything in docs (although i must have found it once to set it ti 2x!)

Also is there a way to change view rate while viewing as opposed to default speed change?

I got my proper display back, some weirdness, then realized that 1.29 does not support localhost?

Remote login and IP address /zm works fine
