Same here on CentOS 7. I was getting the pop-up on 1.34.4 so I updated but RPMFusion took me to 1.34.6 and no new updates are available.

Re: ZoneMinder Periodic Self Shutdown
Ramdisk shows as follows after restarting Size: 3.9G Used:1.2G Disk usage is several MB/s intermittent when I switch half the cameras to record according to iotop. There are 3 cameras running HTTP, all are producing video and appear to be configured correctly, I do not believe they function with ...

Re: ZoneMinder Periodic Self Shutdown
I'll do some digging this weekend and reply back with more of the specifics requested. Sounds like ZM is in a stop condition again... Resolutions are all 1.3MP or less, 4-5FPS. Connections are all remote FFMPEG to my knowledge but I do see the HTTP so I will have to double check and see if maybe one ...

Re: ZoneMinder Periodic Self Shutdown
Xeon e3-1220 v3 8GB DDR3 WD 3TB Red Been a while since I looked but max loading on the CPU was 1.2 according to ZM ( so ~30% on a 4 core CPU?) and motherboard still has low power CPU throttling on, RAM was <3GB and I have not made a mental note of disk usage but my resolutions for all ~7 cameras ...

Re: ZoneMinder Periodic Self Shutdown
Thanks,
I'll have a chance to play with it this weekend.
So is this an ongoing problem in 1.30 or something that may be resolved with an upgrade?

ZoneMinder Periodic Self Shutdown
I've got a zoneminder setup on ~10 Foscam cameras that keeps shutting itself down. I can access the web interface and start it again and it works fine for a week or two but if I don't check it daily it obviously doesn't record video until restart. Only other user does not have administrative ...

Re: Server, for 50 camera?
CPU depends heavily on how/if you are sensing motion, RAM on the ring buffer. Hopefully someone will chime in with specific experience on a setup this large but something to consider.

Re: Zoneminder Server Internet Security Considerations
@BlackAndChrome Your question is kinda off-topic but have you considered using /etc/fstab instead, or do you really need to have them mounted on the fly? Yeah I guess I could have started a new thread but since I had mentioned Autofs being my only real need when switching distros I figured I'd ...

Re: Zoneminder Server Internet Security Considerations
Guestion regarding autofs and relocating directories... I currently have my ReadyNAS NFS share setup so that the server has root access. I temp mount the partition and move the images and events directories from the /var/lib/zoneminder directory to the /data/zoneminder directory on the NAS. my /etc ...

Re: Zoneminder Server Internet Security Considerations
Thanks for the input. I actually have a Cisco VPN 3000 Concentrator that I might consider trying to configure. It came in a surplus lot that I bought to get a Gigabit switch that I needed for a inter building fiber link. Seems like overkill but it would be nice to have access to the entire network ...

Zoneminder Server Internet Security Considerations
I currently have 1.29 running on Ubuntu Server 14.04.4. I have it as a testbed in my apartment but it will soon be moving to my parents business with 7 cams (12+ in the end). After I move it I would like to be able to maintain remote access to both the video feeds and the Ubuntu terminal. The port ...
