Re: ZM h264 Broken Time Not Working
Still having this issue. I completely disabled the old monitor and created a new one but the problem has followed. I even duplicated an existing monitor, that works fine, but the problem persists. There is nothing in the log, but ZM keeps messing up the time index, making the video unusable. The ...

Options and Cropping Video
First, sorry for the double post, but I didn't get any response in the other subforum's thread. I tried to delete my own post, but don't have rights. I have a camera that I bought a fisheye lens for, but I need to crop some of the edges, due to distortion. I am supposed to be able to do this by ...

Pass crop filter to ffmpeg
I have a camera that I bought a fisheye lens for, but I need to crop some of the edges, due to distortion. I am supposed to be able to do this by sending ffmpeg the -filter:v "crop=x:y" option or -filter:v "crop=x:y:h:l". I tried putting it into the options box, with the dash, without the dash, with ...

Re: ZM h264 Broken Time Not Working
I completely removed the time sync, but I'm still getting the issue, except now, it happens randomly on the channel, Monitor-8. Yes, this is the syslog. When the issue happens, it records a single frame and saves that as the file. The cameras are set to mocord, so I know when there is motion and in ...

Re: ZM h264 Broken Time Not Working
I agree it is strange there is nothing there, but even if the time changed, why is it only exhibiting the problem on some of the monitors? Some days, all the monitors show the 000:00 problem. Other days, only one monitor has the issue. Some days, it doesn't do it at all. I'll see if I can disable ...

ZM h264 Broken Time Not Working
I have the h264 fork and I'm having issues with the time getting skewed, at night. Apparently, this happens just before or just as the server runs a time check. The last couple nights, it has happened at around 04:40-05:00 Suddenly, ZM stops recording, there is a gap in the log and the time on the ...

h264 Branch - Video Controls
I just discovered the h264 branch, 2 days ago and got it working, last night. I was wondering if there are controls on the video playback, to skip and rewind. Also, I noticed the gapless events don't work. Is it my install or is this normal operation?

Re: RTSP Cam Works in Other Apps, Not in ZM
I figured out I had not enabled the cgi module, in Apache2. Thanks for the input, though. I'll definitely give all those a shot, in the future.

RTSP Cam Works in Other Apps, Not in ZM
I recently purchased an ELP 720p IP camera and I am trying to set it up to record with ZM, using RTSP. I can use any app to view it, via Android or VLC, in the computer, but ZM won't show the live stream. I can view the stream, just fine, using VLC and other apps, at the address: rtsp://192.168.15 ...

Calculating Hardware
It's been many years since I've used Zoneminder and I was thinking of getting some hardware, IP megapixel cameras and setting everything up. How can I calculate the load that will be placed on the system? If I know the size of the images being captured, shouldn't it be possible to approximately ...
