A few months late, but I think it would be really useful to have the ability built in to automatically delete events after a specified amount of time...say 30 days. After 30 days are up, the events older than that get discarded, save for events which you can check off with an archive tag.

I shall do that...much abliged.

I'm wondering if it's possible to schedule recording events.

For instance, if I have cameras 1-4 recording all day and cameras 5-12 monitoring, can I set ZM to record from cameras 5-12 during the hours of say, 0:00 to 7:00?

I guess one thing I could try is to kill the the automatic startup of my httpd service in init.d and see how I fare out with that. I'll test the livecd on a test server as well. I'm running SuSE 10.3 on my server. On a slightly different note, I'm curious as to which distro seems to have the fewest ...

I do have an http server going. I'm running Apache. I'll have a look into the LiveCD and see what I can learn.

I didn't realize this until just recently. I get an IE error:

just use a prefix for your table and tell the php stuff to go there for database transactions. Use something like t1_zm and t2_zm.
