when an error is encountered? Can you be more specific on what kind of error/where the error is supposed to be coming from? Im talking about an error that appears in the ZM log. Logcheck eventually sends me the entire log, 12 hours worth twice a day, but I was trying to get ZM (or something else ...

Is there a way to make ZM send me an email when an error is encountered? I tried to write a filter and cant seem to find anything about error conditions.....

I had to turn off apparmor in Noble to get the PPA to work. Check your logs, see if apparmor is doing what it seems to do best, which is prevent things from happening.....even if you WANT them to happen.

Can you just put another drive in its place to get it started? I've had ZM start before when a drive was too full, can't say I've had an issue with a completely failed drive. I have had a drive fail. Several of my monitors were pointed at a storage path on that dead drive. Now of course, ZM wont start. How can I edit the monitors to point them to a working storage without ZM running?

look up "conspicuity tape" on Amazon. My cameras light it up like a flare at night, but its no visible without the IR light.
