Re: IN-9420 2K+: Not working with audio disabled
Good news: Instar confirmed that there is a bug in the current firmware 3.7.0. When disabling audio the camera keeps sending an (empty or faulty) audio stream. Workaround is disabling audio followed by a restart of the camera. After the restart there is no audio stream left. In the next but one ...

Re: IN-9420 2K+: Not working with audio disabled
Thanks for your reply! You are going to have to turn on debug logging to get more info. I just set LOG_LEVEL_SYSLOG = Debug, but I can't see any difference in /var/log/syslog. Did I miss something? ffmpeg is saying it doesn't support whatever the camera is sending. ok. That's curious, because the ...

IN-9420 2K+: Not working with audio disabled
Hi there, we have been using Zoneminder 1.36.35 together with Instar cameras for a long time and are very satisfied. Now we are testing the IN-9420 2K+ (current firmware) for the first time and have the following issue: As long as audio is activated on the camera (Multimedia -> Audio), everything ...

Re: Debian Bullseye repo confusion
Too many /bullseye Hey, thanks for your reply! I can see that too, but how can I fix it? If I remove "bullseye" from the URL in the repo file, apt update gives me Err:5 https://zmrepo.zoneminder.com/debian/release-1.36 Release 404 Not Found [IP: 158.69.226.113 443] Reading package lists... [SOLVED] Debian Bullseye repo confusion
Hi there, we're currently on ZoneMinder 1.36.12 on a Debian Bullseye and want to update to... i think 1.36.14 is latest for amd64 systems. We use deb https://zmrepo.zoneminder.com/debian/release-1.36/bullseye/ / in our repo file. apt update works fine and shows zoneminder and zoneminder-doc ready to ...

Can a (non-admin) user change his password?
Hi there,
we're running Zoneminder 1.30.4 with a few users. Is there a way that a user can change his password? Of course without having "system privileges".
Thanks and greets
Stephan

[SOLVED] Migrate user and cam config, but no data
Hi everybody, after succesfully testing Zoneminder we like to migrate our virtual test installation to real hardware. :D Both (source and destination) is a 1.30.4 from iconner's Ubuntu repos. What we would like best is migrating the user configs (including passwords) and the camera configs, but no ...

[SOLVED] "Unable to capture image, retrying" after upgrading to 1.30.2
Hi everybody, I just upgraded to 1.30.2. After this, Zoneminder can't receive the images from one of my three cams anymore. Two (both Instar cams) work fine, the third one (Axis) doesn't. In /var/log/syslog I can see a lot of entries like this: Feb 11 13:43:16 myzmserver zmwatch[3192]: INF ...
