Chrome , Firefox and I.E tested all have the same issue with the dots not appearing , all latest versions of the browser.
I.E does behave differently, i get no live image, dots don't appear.

The minimum age can be found in Option > System > AUDIT_MIN_AGE.
86400 is in seconds = 1 Day

so it will not purge any events from today.

I have upgrade my system this morning to (1.30.12-xenial-2017012301) ..
and live view is now working correctly. i also rebooted my system, first time in months!

No, i haven't, I built a new virtual machine for the time being (1.29.0)
Next weekend i will investigate more. going to do a clean install and see if i get the same issue.
