ivtv devices won't work with shared memory like other V4L devices. the PVR will output non mpeg video which would work. If you want a work around you can use somthing to capture stills from the PVR (like mplayer) and point ZM to the stills, it takes more CPU and result in lower possible frame rates ...

I'm using zone minder with a PVR-350 which would have the same MPEG problem, however. I've got multiple cammers each on different channels coming in through the TV turner.
