can't delete more than 185 events
I have a strange problem with deteting events. It started with a new install of 1.22.0 and I just upgraded to 1.22.2 and it still happens. No matter how many events I select, only 185 get deleted and I can't figure out why. This is a gentoo AMD64 system using the ebuilds to install. Has anyone had ...

Yes there are. I originally didn't see them because I was grepping for "zmc -m 7" by mistake. 'zma -m 7' starting at 05/06/14 23:15:21, pid = 27508 'zma -m 7' crashed at 05/06/14 23:15:26, exit status 255 'zma -m 7' started at 05/06/14 23:25:26 'zma -m 7' starting at 05/06/14 23:25:26, pid = 27577 ...

Here is an example of it going haywire. It was exactly 50 events after starting it up but that isn't always the case. I thought I found the problem with some perl X10 stuff missing from the install. I dont use x10 so I disabled it but that monitor seems to have X10 triggering always on even if I ...

monitor gone berserk
I have several remote monitors that are set up to record with a section length of 900 and they work fine. I have a local monitor set up the same way and it often goes berserk. It will start off saving in 900 sec chucks but then it switches to 14 second chunks or even less. Now it even starts off ...

I only use the composite for now but I have to use xawtv to set it using xawtv to begin with. Also the TV card stopped responding twice now. It's an older card so I'm trying another card now. Apache and the zm processes still stop responding after a while. I can restart apache but the zp processes I ...

several annoyances
That helped with the middle problem I still seem to have the other 2 problems. Is there something I can run in cron to select the composite output for now? Running xawtv remotely through ssh on a box where mem use is near max is a bit slow.

several annoyances
I have had zm running for some time now and it runs well for the most part but there are several annoyances. I have 3 remote cameras running as 6 zones, 1 time lapse record and 1 modect for each. I also have a time lapse zone on the composite of a bttv TV card. I use a pentium 766MHz CPU with 512mb ...

No, I understand what you intend to do. I think it's better to use one of the other options or combine zmc, zms, and a small webserver. I'm sure the axis cameras aren't running apache, php and mysql. If you get something like camserve to work, thats 40mb or so saved from apache and another 40mb or ...

I may be wrong but I don't think zms does the actual web serving of the stream. I think apache sets up the network connection and then zms supplies the stream. if you plan on using zms remotely, you need something to replace apache and php. If you use something that has the web interface already ...

It sounds like you have grub on the 100MB boot partition left over from the redhat install. If you mount that partition and edit /path/grub/menu.lst (or it may be grub.cfg), you can point it to the kernel in your mandrake partition. Another option would be to copy the contents of the /boot on your ...

Yes, camserv is the one I was thinking of in a similar thread on remote computers. Camsource is another: http://camsource.sourceforge.net/ I think these are better approaches as the remote machine wont need apache, mysql, etc. Perhaps a small footprint web server with rewritten zmc and zms would ...
