Solved all my Zoneminder problems!!
Ditched Zoneminder and went with a Reolink NVR 4 cam system for ~300 USD. I have 2TB of space, an awesome app for my iPhone and don't have to deal with all the problems Zoneminder has with CentOS 8!!

Found the problem.
The password in zm.conf was not the same as the password for the database.

I downloaded the zoneminder-http package and extracted the zoneminder.httpd.conf file, crated the symlink and restarted httpd and zm.
Everything seems to work now!!

Thanks!! The file. zoneminder.httpd.conf appears to be corrupt. I see nothing but garbage when I open it with a text editor. A file zoneminder.httpd.conf.rpmnew does not exist.
