Re: Viewing event recordings on mobile browsers
Just curious, but why aren't you using the zmNinja app? Web browsers on mobile phones have always been clumsy.

Re: Multi-server setup for streaming montage
The Multi server setup is aimed at spreading the CPU load for processing the camera's you wish to monitor. Accessing each of the servers within this setup will allow you to view a montage covering all of the camera's. There are limitations on how many cameras can be viewed at once in montage view ...

Re: Problems when browsing from a network or the Internet
In that case, you have to look at how your network is operating. Also check the configuration of any firewalls between you and the Zoneminder server. Are you doing any network translations, do you have any reverse proxies in place? If your not seeing any issues with access directly then it's going ...

Re: Problems when browsing from a network or the Internet
There are so many factors to consider, such as firewalls and network bandwidth. Also what are the specifications of the PC running Zoneminder? I'm not totally sure what your trying to say by if I watch from a computer where Ubuntu is installed, then everything is fine, the video stream matches the ...

Re: ZM 1.36 & Annke cameras
How many servers? So hey... you can free up a ton of cpu/ram by tell ZM to scale down to something like 720p by setting the resolution on source tab to 720p... your passthrough recordings will still be high res... Funny, that's what I have set already. But still have high CPU and RAM usage, which ...

Re: ZM 1.36 & Annke cameras
1) cameras I'm thinking in buying is C800 turret (6MP 4K), is this one what you have? 2) is it possible that your recorder is choppy because it's outdated and can't handle the new camera? 1) I have the dome version. 2) I'm running ZM across 5 VM's each with 8 vCPUs and 16Gb RAM, with 3 cameras per ...

Re: ZM 1.36 & Annke cameras
I've got the 4k version, unfortunately it's not usable with my current setup. The live stream is very choppy and motion detection doesn't work at all. Reducing the resolution helps, but the idea of a 4k camera is to capture more data not less. For the time being I've put my back in the box. I also ...

Linked monitor function not working as expected
Hello everyone Firstly I'm using multiple servers, so not your typical setup. But hopefully that's not a concern. Having had my setup running for a number of years now, it's be working fantastic. I've decided to have a go at using the Sub stream of my cameras to perform the motion detection, hoping ...

Re: Storing RTSP Events
Have a look in the Buffers section of the camera configuration and play around with the values. Here's what I'm currently using and seem to capture what's needed. mage Buffer Size (frames) - 5 Maximum Image Buffer Size - 101 Warmup Frames - 25 Pre Event Image Count - 30 Post Event Image Count - 60 ...

Re: Annke C800 4k Camera
I have one, works great. It is a hikvision. Please note that your computer likely cannot handle decoding and doing motion detection on the 4k stream. Thanks Isaac, time to move away from VM's with loads of CPU's and RAM for something dedicated to the job and with a massive GFX card? Or do I just ...

Annke C800 4k Camera
I've just bought one of these cameras to see if it's worth upgrading my existing cameras. Just looking to see if anyone else has any of these cameras and what settings they're using.
