I found the solution had something to do with php versions and cakephp not working properly i dont undestand why but the solution was disable php7.1 and enable 7.2? :

I updated zoneminder from 1.31 to 1.32.3 zmninja stop working i get api access error in the app, but in zoneminder api is enabled and the config its the same as it was before.
What can it be?

i have that message in logs restartpending too, also with 1.31.44 i cant restart zoneminder from console using service zoneminder restart. Its freezes and do nothing, rigt after the command i entr password and stays like that without restarting

Ok i found a solution here https://github.com/ZoneMinder/zoneminder/issues/811 to make it work with ffmpeg , increasing the buffer size at source tab of the camera i put buffer_size=128000 and for now seems work good

having problem with one camera that before was using libvlc, now if i use libvlc its stop each 4 seconds for some reason, and if i use ffmpeg the pixture get broken like pixelated, i had same problem with ffmpeg in that camera before using the 1.30.4 thats why i was using libvlc , but now i cant use ...

are you running Apache as the web server? i have same problem , events list are in /zm/index.php?view=events&page=1 i click some event and only play few frames . How do i enable longer previews for events at /zm/index.php?view=events&page=1 ?
