I'm trying to diagnose a few issues that I think are probably just setup things, but I can't get to the logs. I can only view what's displayed on the screen which goes back just a few minutes. Whenever I try to export (in any format), I get a 500 Internal Server Error. Nothing shows in the log about ...

Lowering the frames from 30 to 25fps seems to have fixed it.

Also try the ffmpeg monitor type instead of the old Remote. I tried this, but I must be doing something wrong. It no longer connects to the camera with this change. You should not be setting max FPS anywhere on ZM for remote or FFMPEG. Max FPS is only used for local cameras. I'll try leaving it blank. In the Hikvision Wiki it says to set it slightly higher than the camera, and from reading it is apparently to keep CPU usage in check if the camera drops off ...
