Hmm... something is not right here, Look in /etc/init.d/rc3.d and rc5.d for Sxxzm where xx is a number. If it is not the last number do a mv Sxxzm S99zm And then restart your computer. Note that if you run SuSEConfig it will revert back the setting. You can add: # Required-Start: apache2 mysql to ...

Hi again, I have just checked out one other SuSe-box I have and on this one I have done another approach. I have entered in the /etc/modprobe.conf.local the following line options bttv card=77,0 In your case, enter your setup line here. Also, do a dmesg and look for the startup line for the bttv ...

Hi, How are your setup for the card? According to http://www.linuxtv.org/v4lwiki/index.php/Kodicom_4400R it should be installed as this: modprobe bttv gbuffers=16 card=133,132,133,133 I know that SuSe is a little picky about setting up a videocard. I had to modify the startup script to be able to ...

Hi,

Restart Suse, on the Grub screen type the digit 3 and press enter.
This will start Suse in runlevel 3, login as root and do a lsmod to verify that bttv is loaded.

Sincerely,
Mikael

Support for setlocale() function

Hi, ZoneMinder does support different languages but the present version does not support the setlocale() function. For the date on the mainpage it uses date( "D jS M, g:ia" ). It would be nice to have this changed to use setlocale(LC_TIME, $locale); where $locale could be set in the configuration to ...
